Saw these ugly stools at Goodwill, and thought these would be great in my garage as I am trying to set up a little work area. Painted them bronze finish then upholstered them in one of my favorite color- RED! One is altered seating as I used what I had, and didn't want to go buy anything, so I just made it fit in a pattern to git. After all, it's for the garage work area.
These were not pretty. They were about $6.99 ea.
One wheel is a bit bended but still very sturdy, just tips a bit. Tried bending it but thought I'd break it. So I stopped.
They look much better. Paint was about 3.50 for 2 cans of spray paint. Just needed 1 but used the other for another project.
The one on your right is the altered pattern, I just didn't have to stop and go to the fabric store. I used what I had.

I like the top of the stool on the right. Did you use fabric that had that already on it? Wish I'd had this site a couple years ago when I bought two similar, but wooden stools at the thrift store. I bought padded covers - that's all they had at Bed,B&B. they never fit right, and wouldn't stay on. These look great!!

thanks Tamara- Stool on right was the one that I didn't have enough enough fabric & I just didn't want to get more fabric -it's outdoor fabric so I had to make a different way/pattern to cover it.
