Fabric markers vs. paint markers

Frank on May 29, 2016I don't know about fabric markers ,but sharpie makes a metallic marker that comes in silvers and golds and coppers that work great. I am a rural mail carrier and use them to mark black mailboxes that a regular marker would not show up on and they work great even lasting through long periods of weathering.Helpful Reply

Watts in DE on May 29, 2016Sharpies tend to bleed on wood, the more sanded and raw the wood is, the more bleeding. Experiment with some sealants prior to the final finish. Chalkboards vs. Chalk paints finishes vary also but not nearly as much as sanded wood.Helpful Reply
