Laundry Room Makeover on a Budget

We have a very small space for our laundry room (4.5 x 7) and wanted to make sure we made the space practical, yet inviting. We laid travertine tile we bought at a discount auction, painted, put bead board on the walls to help with the flow from the kitchen, and added an Ikea closet/pantry for added storage. The whole redo cost us about $250 and we absolutely LOVE it... to read about the full transformation, click here: http://www.littlehouseinthebigd.com/2012/03/...

Lee Anne, The tile is 4x6 travertine pavers! We got them at an auction, but Home Depot also sells em!

They look taupe or gray. Thank you. I love the brick look & the pattern you chose. Lovely job.

Your floor looks just like my bathroom floor! Only mine are 4x8 travertine rather than 4x6 - a little disconcerting - I was wondering how a picture of my floor in progress got on your page!! Love the results of the room!

very nice job. Adding the cabinet was a great way to hide some of those ugly containers.
