360 Sod (Donna Dixson) on May 14, 2012Bernice, does it say Mirror Plant on the tag? Does it look like it has blades sort of like an Iris or is it kind of a fat colorful leaf? There is Crocosmia and there is Coprosma.Helpful Reply

Bernice H on May 15, 2012Yes to you 4 seasons...web site does say mirror plant. It is coprosma sp, Tequila sunrise... kiaoraflora.com But when i went to this site and others, not much info on whether perennial or annual, tag says" foliage changes from limegreen and yellow in the spring, to sunset orange and burgundy as the weather cools. Amazing in a container or window box" It doesnt really matter but if it is a perennial that would be super. I plan on putting it in a container. But it could grow to 3.5 h 3.5 w. Very lovely, shrub looking.Helpful Reply

Bernice H on May 15, 2012oh wow! I just looked at Evening Glow... I would have gotten this one if it had been there. It does say it keeps its leaves all winter, so this one must be a perennial. Tequila sunrise doesnt say that tho. Who needs flowers when these are so colorful? ok , editing here..just looked at Pina colada also ....extraordinary colorful plants.Helpful Reply

Douglas Hunt on May 15, 2012If you're in Zone 6, Bernice, your nursery must be selling them as annuals. They're usually not hardy below zone 8.Helpful Reply

Nadia Najjar on Jan 19, 2016Here in Perth,Western Australia, I have COPROSMA in my garden and it's sometimes called THE MIRROR BUSH because the leaves are so glossy...! You can also get VARIEGATED COPROSMA which has very pretty leaves....! This area is not tropical although we do get some quite hot weather in summer.Helpful Reply
