Grandma's Utensil Solar Windchime

I had some of both my husband's grandma's and my grandma's utensils from the kitchen. I finally decided how I was going to display them - A Solar Windchime

I started with a hanging plant holder from the Dollar Tree.

I used some floral/jewelry wire and a wire cutter to attach the utensils to the plant hanger.

These are some of the utensils I used - egg beater, potato masher, spatula, and and old pot.

I attached the solar light with wire through the hold on the top. I could have bought a larger solar light that would have fit in there on it's own, but I had this one on hand.

It's all attached with the wire. I thought about fishline, but these utensils are heavy and it need something a little stronger.

I look at it and think of our grandma's. :)
I'll be making this and more on my next Hometalk Facebook Live, Tuesday, March 14th at 7pm EST. Hope to see you there!
