Quick and Easy Front Door Makeover With Personality

Easy
My front door and entryway were looking mighty sad: faded wood front door, dusty porch furniture, you know the drill. After a coat of paint on the front door, I added the word 'hello' (with an easy trick for painting perfect letters on wood) and now my door offers a friendly greeting. After dusting off the furniture, potting some beautiful planters, and a adding plants to my trellis wall for a vertical flower show my updated outdoor entryway has added tons of curb appeal!
See this scratchy, faded door? Not very welcoming!
Booyah! A facelift. These letters took about 15 minutes and zero dollars to paint.
Here's how you do it: trace letters onto the door with a pencil, creating an indented outline in the wood (more detailed tutorial on the blog)
Added plants and planters to the trellis.
Bright planters flank the doorway.
Pretty and outdoor friendly accessories add even more detail and warmth. Come over to the blog and see the final reveal!
