TinaLouise on Jun 24, 2013I have probably six types of Dahlia's in my yard and I find that they are very low maintenance. We make sure to deadhead them but that's about it. We've had them get so large that we have to stake them up and the bonus is that they come back every year. Love them! One thing I always forget though is they come up later than most of our other flowers so I always think we've lost them that year and I go buy more :) so far hubby hasn't caught on, LOL This year I added a new variety that has purple and black foliage, unique look which we are enjoying. I use them often for cut flower arrangements.Helpful Reply
