    Earl do you know why the ants are there? It may be as easy as just hosing down your driveway and not needing to spray or treat it at all. I had someone drop some snack on the sidewalk in front of my house and it looked like an ant farm! We hosed it off and that was that.

    Buy ant powder. It works. OR A flame thrower is very effective

    I was told pour boiling water on the ant holes, but I haven't tried it myself to see if it works...(having the same problem!)

      It works great as does pouring white vinegar on the anthill

    Why would you want to get rid of them as long as they are outside? They serve a great purpose of aerating the soil, without them and earthworms, many of your plants can die, and peonies cannot open without ants to loosen their petals. If they are not 'bugging' (sorry!) you in your house, I suggest you leave them alone.
