Crate storage for 'the necessities in life'. :)

We all have the same issue. Where do we store the extra toilet paper? It needs to be within reach but how can we do it in a cool way?

My own answer came by simply screwing a rusty old licence plate onto an old crate, attach it to the wall, and voila, you're all set! Doesn't get much easier (or cooler) than this. :)

This little crate contraption stores 6 rolls, pyramid style. Not bad!

Simply screw the licence plate onto the crate, then screw it to the wall from the inside, and you're done! Instant funky little cabinet, junk style.

Sealing the license plate with a clear spray sealer would be a good idea. I simply chose to have the bottom row of rolls remain in their packages.

It functions awesome and looks pretty cool. And is rustic enough to please the junkiest junker. :)

A combination of conservative/rustic. Colors are conservative with the rustic touch making for a great experience. Well done! You might consider lining the bottom of the crate w/felt so you don't have to leave any paper in their plastic packages..........when you have nothing else to do. 8-)

I like it but the rest of the bathroom motif should have the same type of distressed decor.

I like it and so will my husband. Being a mechanic this will fit right into his place of business.

love this! i have a small bath with little to no storage too. I cut a wood ladder down and used a three rung section to hang towels on.

Very nice. Don't have wall space in my bathroom. I use a paper towel holder on my toilet. Holds 3 rolls & looks nice

Toqua B, you have no idea how tiny that bathroom looked before the reno. The secret was getting rid of the ridiculously oversized vanity. The room doubled in size with the pedestal sink. Very cool!

I painted a big cheese box with a rural scene, sky, fields, hedges trees etc., with the lid not fitting tight, it holds 12 toilet rolls. Because I love perfume, anywhere, anytime, every space between each roll has a highly scented soap in it. When the top layer of rolls is used up, I take evrything out, put fresh (unscented) ones in the bottom, top with with the patchouly, lavender, rose, sandalwood. They are on the bottom long enough to smell sweet right to the end of each roll. Love it!

We use an old wooden canister to hold one roll. I painted it to match the room and add a decorative knob on top and a metal tag that says "extra tissue."

Very cute and oh so clever. My large, shower/bath is not close to that large, if it did not have a sink or cabinet. lol
