First It Was an Arbor for Our Son's Wedding and Then It Became......

Our son and his intended spent a year planning their wedding to be held outside at a winery. They wanted 2 arbors but the rental was $1,000 for each! He bought $250 worth of cedar and brought it to his dad with a picture of what he wanted. This is what happened...
There is the groom helping his dad make the first arbor in our backyard.
Here one of the two arbors they built put up at the wedding about 20 minutes before it began.
While they were on their honeymoon, my husband made this bench for the kids as a remembrance from their wedding.
This is another view. We had a plate engraved with their names and the wedding date that we put on.
I got a smaller version for the front porch.
Then, with a lazy Susan from our solid wood entertainment center that we repurposed, he made me a nice sized table for the dining room.
Still wood left, he made this glass topped coffee table with a piece of glass we picked up on big trash day!
