Corner Shelf Makeover

I found this little corner shelf at a thrift store for $6. So, I thought it would be a great little piece to redo. I started with recovering the drawer with burlap (the Tutorial for that is on my blog. Then, I sanded and primed the shelf with Kilz primer. Then, I painted the shelf with a metallic Red Copper by Martha Stewart. I applied the paint with a roller. Then, I did a really light glaze of a silver and white paint mix.

Burlap! I would have never thought if it but I love it! Now my mind is reeling with ideas for a corner cabinet I have!
