All of these where either started from seed, taken a piece from someone as a transplant orrrrrr bought half dead on the clearance rack at lowe's and nursed back to health. Call me crazy but I have 128 species in my yard and guard each of them like my child. I could just play in the dirt all day.

Ground Cover, not sure of the name.
Ice plant, purple I think is the traditional color, not sure what name they gave this color.
Oriental Lilly
Painted daisy
Peony
Thread leaf Coreopsis
Vinca, doesn't the bark make a nice back drop.
