Straw Bale Gardening

Looking for a new way to make your garden more productive? Try straw bale gardening.
Here's how it works. Purchase straw bales (not hay) and condition them with water and fertilizer for two weeks. During the conditioning the inside of the bale starts to decompose. Plant seedlings directly into the bale. When the season is over cut the twine on the bale and you have more compost! To see more go to: http://livedan330.com/2013/06/25/2013620straw-bale-gardening/ and don't forget to follow us on Hometalk!
