Have you admired the look of copper Japanese rain chains? They are so pretty but the price can be difficult and many people do not want to mess with their down spouts. So I thought I make a faux rain chain and hang it in the garden on a Shepherd's hook.

I totally don't understand what the purpose of this is and why is the correct way to hang one is in your down spout .

I have a tall pole that's really too tall . So this is an answer to make whatever I decide to hang on it reachable. Like bird feeder, maybe bird house or plants....
