Antique glass caddy

MN Mom on Jun 08, 2016You could use it as a flower caddy and insert different glass jars or small vases. Then put a small nosegay arrangement in each vessel. Or, use it as a countertop caddy in the bathroom to hold vintage glasses filled with cotton balls, swabs, make-up brushes, etc.Helpful Reply

Suzette on Jun 08, 2016You could leave as is or paint it, hang it on the end of your counter to hang towels, or use some canning jars, you could hang it under your cabinets and use it store your utensils. But what I would probably do is build or find an old shallow wood box, attach it to the top so it becomes a handle and put 3 old milk bottles in it with either tiny light or use for fresh cut flowers. So many uses!! You could even hang it on the wall next to your front door to hold umbrella's, scarves, keys etc...Helpful Reply

Janet Pizaro on Jun 08, 2016It would be really pretty as a flower caddy or with colorful bottles. I have something similar that I spray painted a bright color and placed in a new portable garden with a potted plant and it looks amazing.Helpful Reply

Con5828143 on Jun 11, 2016Got one almost like it in a box from my aunt. Spray painted it with Rustoleum silver (I always use satin finish) then the local dollar store had small glass old fashioned milk bottles. Bought them and found small stemmed silk flowers at Joanns and put them in each bottle. Makes a cute table centerpiece. Crafty nanaHelpful Reply

MM on Jun 12, 2016How about unique coloured and shaped glassware. Or it seems so versatile that you can change it up with different ideas for a table centrepiece. Perhaps different types of candles..Helpful Reply
