I asked my hometalk family a couple of years ago on what to do about this slope of a yard. My husband and I felt that the trees and shade would hinder us!
After many great comments, we set out on a Mission Of The Slope!
2years later after cutting a few trees, and letting the sun in. We not only have grass, flowers, shurbs and a crafting cottage my husband and I built.
This cottage complete with potting table and setting area. Information on how to create bench and other projects are located here on my blog at hometalk.
Here is the top of the slope, with rock bed that will soon have a bridge that will cross over from grass to mulch area.Coming soon to Hometalk...............
These plantings are in the early stages. They will increase in size as the summer comes.
This trellis is one of the few things that i had in this garden before plantings.
Brick planter box.
Who saids you can't use a bakers rack in your yard!!!
Here is my crafting cottage, that also has a few updates along the way sense we built it. Remember that where there is a will there is a way to conquer The Slope!!!!!!!!!!!!!
