DIY Detergent Pods Tub

Hey, guys! So my household goes through tubs and tubs of Iced Tea like babies go through diapers. I usually throw them out but this time, I was thinking of what I could do with them. Well, I hurried outside to my recycling can and took these babies out! I had a plan and I wanted to get started on them asap!
Peel off the label and leave it bare. The paint will look much better on this surface than with the label still on it.
This is the chalkboard paint I used. I found this at Target in their Dollar Spot for $3.00!
Next thing you want to do it paint two layers on the tubs and the lids.
Allow to dry for about 30 minutes in between coats.
Grab your detergent pods bags - have a variety as you can see, and start opening the bags.
Start filling in your tubs!
Since we used chalkboard paint, write on the outside of your tubs "Detergent pods"
Look at the final result!

Sandra on Jun 09, 2016The best thing about this is it keeps the colorful pods out of sight. Lots of children have been rushed to the emergency room after getting into them because they thought they looked like candy. Great idea!
