MN Mom on Jun 10, 2016Sometimes it's just the wiggle room that causes the sliding of a mattress. Buy a large, rubber gripper slip proof rug pad. These are available in a range of sizes and are found in the rug section at department and big box home improvement stores. Cut it to fit the same size of your mattress and then place it on the slats, top it with your mattress and see how it works!Helpful Reply

Joline Cosman on Jun 11, 2016I had the same problem. I got a 1x6 board cut to the width of the bed. Got 2 TABLE LEGS available at most big hardware stores. Made a sort of table to put behind my headboard, and got a huge pillow to put on top of that table-thing. Lets me push mattress back into position (sort of) and is a comfy pillow. Looks OK, and works for me.Helpful Reply
