An extra cabinet door - what do I do with it?
-
Chris on Jun 13, 2016Paint the actual "frame" of the door, and I would use the back side of the door, a complimentary color for your home. Paint the centre panel in chalkboard paint either in the traditional black or any of the colors that it comes in now that also matches or compliments your decor. Add an upsie down half moon cabinet handle to hold the chalk and maybe add hooks to hang keys, etc. Use a two piece (french) cleat to hang it.Helpful Reply

Linda on Jun 13, 2016I used a leftover cabinet door as a shelf for my cable box in the kitchen. I mounted it using decorative brackets and hung it above my TV.Helpful Reply

Gabrielle Falk on Jun 14, 2016Is the door solid enough to use as a table. Attach to two "A" type frames, paint a colour depending where you might put it, and place glass on top. Goodluck.Helpful Reply
