I have another mystery plant.

This plant has beautiful deep green foliage, and it bloomed georgous yellow flowwers, a top the plant are these runners and this morning when I looked at it they had little purple flowers on the runners, Anybody know what it is? all the pictures are of the same plant. HELP Please.

Wow!! Are you sure it is the same plant?? I´ve never seen a plant with 2 flowers so different like that. The yellow one looks a lot like "Turnera ulmifolia". Here is a good place for research: http://www.onlineplantguide.com/Plant-Details/3636/ Good luck!!

Ok so this has been bugging me all day, we went out and looked even closer, there are two stems coming out of this pot, both of the leaves are the same, but the flowers are on different stems, so looks like two plants, So Eva I think you're right about the yellow one, but any ideas about what the purple one is? with the leaves looking the same would this make them in the same plant family, please be patient with me I am new at al this

the purple plant looks like a porterweed, it's actually blue but to me it looks purple http://www.netpamj.com/porterweed.htm

it's a porter weed. It comes in the colors of red and royal blue(bluish purple)

keep in mind MANY VARIETIES of HYBRIDS will revert to the original plants over time..Roses for one, if they freeze and come up BELOW the base.....this could be the case,, never seen it here in theNW,,love the color.
