Teen Boys' Bedroom Makeover Reveal

My teenage boys room was in desperate need of a makeover. We gutted the room back to the studs and started all over again. Purchasing used furniture and giving it a facelift saved us a bundle. New flooring, walls, wiring, lights, dressers, wardrobes, beds, and bedding gave this room a total transformation.

For resale, it's always nice to have the finished room but check with your local appraisers about how small a bedroom can be to be recognized as a "bedroom". It's not just about having a closet, in this case with the finished ceiling slant and new side walls, so that it's not sloped all the way to the floor, keep in mind that finished square feet starts at a wall height of 7' in most states.
