    What direction do you cut the lawn to get the pattern or look of this?

    Let me start by saying that I am not a gardener so excuse any dumb questions. Is it taller in some rows? I think my landscaper cuts our grass too short, I thought it had to be around 3 to 3.5 inches long, is that correct? In that case how long and short are your rows. I just want grass to grow any advise? Your lawn is beautiful.
