On a recent trip to the East Coast I took some pictures of my cousin's beautiful home. She and her husband have integrated an "industrial" aesthetic with their tropical surroundings and the result is surprisingly beautiful.

The highlight of the home is this backyard which is truly another living space.
The outdoor table seats ten and the outdoor kitchen is fully functional.
The pool area is flanked with relaxing lounges.
This living area is under cover--a perfect place to sit out a South Florida storm.
The kitchen is tiny, but extremely functional.
The homeowner built this table himself.
