Old Fashioned Hydrangeas

I have a love of this flower that began as a child. My grandparents always seemed to have them around their beautiful wrap around porches. I can remember standing around and looking at those huge fluffy balls of variegated colors and thinking. When I am grown I will have some of those. Well, I do and have had them for years and still have a love of them. Do you? Please join me in a tour of this years blooms..

    My Favorite loveb them My Mum always had big bushes under our kitchen window & I,ve got 3 beauties on my Terrace & survive in the heat of Mallorca so feel very lucky.

    They are indeed & when cut them as they get huge I trim it & sew in another pot & now got loads & given no end to people just add a root powder & bingo. dont have much luck with changing colours mine all pink.

      @Kay Martin I'm going to have to root some of mine thanks for the idea! I would have to add lime for a year to get mine pink again...I bought them as pink but the blue is what my grandma had..so guess I'll leave. I know your pink must be gorgeous.
