Shirley

It is about 3 feet tall with shiny brown centers and fuzzy leaves. A small plant came up in my landscape rock. I transplanted it last fall. This spring there were many plants. It has now started to bloom. Is it rudbeckia?

It is a Rudbeckia - Black-eyed Susan. Be careful, it can take over a garden and push other plants away.

yes Rubeckia , comes in a variety of colors.. It you have a bare spot,, wait until the flowers are somewhat dry and cut the bloom, sprinkle the seeds from the center in another spot,, they will grow new plants.. In some areas they are considered an annual.. other a perennial..
