Garden Walk ~ Mid-July in My Garden

A muggy mid-July morning, but my flowers don’t seem to mind a bit. The garden is awash with color, and the butterflies and bees are flitting from one lovely bloom to the next. We are spending a lot of time in the gazebo since all the wet weather has brought out multitudes of mosquitoes! But it is a wonderful, comfortable spot from which to view the garden and birds, so all is well. Come with me to see what's blooming!

Barb Rosen on Jul 13, 2013Thanks, @Lynne ~ try taking photos in the early morning or at dusk so the colors aren't washed out . It's a trick I have learned that keeps the blooms looking more natural.

Ruthe917 on Jul 29, 2014Did a wagon Fairy Garden this year--first time using the wagon. Was wondering what I'm going to do when the cold weather comes. Next year I'll be sure to 'pot' those plants for easy removal for the fall/winter. Thanks for the idea.
