Shirley on Jul 10, 2013I`m not sure about storing table cloths, but I have quilts from both of grandmothers that I have stored, so this might help you. I rolled them in an cotton sheet and they are under my bed because they are too big to store in my closet. I rolled them because the material will get ( memory folds ) when they are folded the same way for A long period of time and they will not come out even if you wet and iron them, so everything made of fabric I want to store I always roll them up. I really hope this has helped you!Helpful Reply

Gabrielle Falk on Jun 17, 2015I've heard that if you wrap something precious, like a wedding gown, in blue tissue paper acid-free, that this will stop the item from yellowing. I haven't tried this on anything I have, but it might also help to avoid those tell-tale 'fold/yellowing marks' when something has been folded for a long while. With my white jeans/slacks, I make sure I rotate them on the hanger ie hang on one side of the jeans, and then shake and hang over the hanger on the other side. I guess it's also important to make sure the item is clean before you store away. I wonder if you put them under the bed it might be a good idea to put them in something dust resistant. Good luck.
