Organizing the Broom Closet

I added the following: chalkboard painted on the door, custom sized DIY organizer, ironing board hangers, and magazine holder for keeping vacuum supplies together. Lots of ideas here on how to organize. More info here: http://lifecurrents.dw2.net/broom-closet-makeover/
Hang the ironing board in the closet. I gained about 4 inches of floor space by hanging the ironing board rather than just leaning it onto the wall. And, I never have to worry about it falling over.
I attached one of those metal magazine holders to the inside of the closet. It holds all the vacuum accessories like the bags, a replacement filter, and a new belt. All nice and tidy in one place.

Love it! I don't even have a closet like that. I think I will pass on your tip to hang the ironing board. My daughter has a pretty good size broom closet and that would work so nicely there. Thanks for sharing with us!
