Adding Storage With Vintage Dresser

by White Oak Studio Designs
I needed more storage in my dining room and now use a vintage Empire-style dresser of bird's eye maple with deep drawers. I use this piece to store linens, candles, off-season pillows and platters and it works great! I painted the drawer fronts in CeCe Caldwell's Chalk Paint to update and freshen the dresser's look. This provide SO much needed storage now. On my retirees budget, I spent less than $100.00.
Front view of the four-drawer dresser and vintage mirror both painted using chalk paint.
Deep drawers makes this a perfect storage unit in my Small House dining room.
Original wooden mushroom style drawer pulls add interest to the painted surface.
