This unique bench was made exclusively with supplies purchased at the re-use store. Have you checked out your local re-use store? At mine i found a beautiful variety of cabinet doors in several different sizes and cut from several different types of wood. I thought, what could I make to show off these doors? A bench! The cabinet doors make a beautiful back to the bench. I used flooring (also from the re-use store) for the seat of the bench. Head over to my blog to check out the easy way to frame up, finish and enjoy this one of a kind bench that any diy-er can accomplish. Plus, you can't beat the prices you find at the re-use store!

I had to laugh when I saw this.. A couple of years ago we had a flood in our basement and lost all the wet bar cabinetry. I saved the oak doors and drawers though. We recently sold that house and when cleaning out we gave all those doors and drawers to the Re-Store.. I just now said to my husband "Darn.. I knew we should've kept those doors." He rolls his eyes when I want to save something. We have a basement full of wood from our build. We did make a beautiful table for our porch out of the old treadle sewing machine with the broken cabinet he wanted to throw away.
