Where can I find grape vines in the Timberlake NC area that are somewhat matured?

Douglas Hunt on Jun 01, 2012I can't help you with finding them other than to suggest checking with a good local nursery. As far as transplanting, from what I've read the key is to do so before there is any swelling of the buds. Grapevines have a very long taproot, and you cannot hope to get all of it, but get as much as you can, re-plant at the same depth, and then trim back the top growth to about as long as the roots you were able to dig out. Good luck!Helpful Reply
