Collecting seeds

Just spent a nice meditative 2 hours collecting coriander/cilantro seeds from my cilantro plants which are done for the spring season. I LOVE collecting seeds!!

Quite impressive. I can probably kill a seed before it ever goes into the ground.

Lynette is right about it being so relaxing and there are benefits the following year. I have a massive & dense perrenial garden in my front yasrd. Seed collecting is a must - for control. Now is the time to start seeding new gardens in the back yard .

Didn't even think about this. I have cilantro out back. Not anywhere near finished for the season (I'm on the left coast) but I think I will take time to collect seeds when they are done.
