After all of the rain we've had here in Michigan, these yellow flowers have really brightened up my garden (and my spirits)!

Isn't the first picture a weed? It looks like what we have had tons of and my husband would get out the weed killer.

No, it's not! I wasn't sure at first either. But a friend had given it to me and so I let it grow. It is an evening primrose and gives those beautiful yellow flowers, which only last a minute :( But it does look like a weed, so look carefully at yours. Here's another recent picture. Good luck!
