Guess what? There is no more glass recycling allowed in my County!!! So I either have to throw out our bottles (Horror of horrors!) OR figure out a way to repurpose them. Needless to say, they've been building up in our garage...
But I found a couple of different options for transforming them into gorgeous sea glass bottles- one is a spray, the other is brush on. And I fell in love with the results of both of them! (Here is an affiliate link for one of the products- I could only find it online!)
To create a centerpiece for a side table in my home, I decided to pair my bottles with a vintage milk bottle carrier / basket. I am totally combining farmhouse style with coastal cottage style! But I think it'll work really well...let's see if I'm right!
I added a few more touches to tie it all together and I just LOVE it! It's like bringing a piece of the seashore into my house...and I'm hundreds of miles from the beach! But I promise you, it's easy to do and the results are fantastic...
I hope you like it as much as I do- and thanks for clicking over to my original post for all the info!

I believe this sea grass effect can be done with Elmer’s or Modge Podge mixed with food coloring or certain paint. Has anyone ever seen this described on Hometalk?
