Susan Beecher on Jun 30, 2016I agree with KatyBoss. Depending on where you live, this is probably Canada goldenrod. It is native here in the Midwest, but kind of aggressive.Helpful Reply

Janet Pizaro on Jun 30, 2016Looks like goldenrod, however that flowers much later here in NewYork which is a different growing zone. I would wait this out in the event is is the perennial as this particular one looks like an explosion of yellow.I will caution you it does and will take over.Helpful Reply

Colleen Anderson on Jul 01, 2016I have something similar and mine are an asiatic lily. They do get very tall and will have several blooms on each stalk. These start out from a bulb and appear to have been neglected for awhile. They will need to be dug up in the fall and the bulbs divided up.Helpful Reply

Pat on Jul 01, 2016Weeds! They pull out very easily. When I first moved into my house, there was a huge clump of them & I assumed they were a "real"plant. I let them stay & grow until they bloomed their teeny flower & it was clear that they were weeds! Boy did I laugh at myself!Helpful Reply

Sue Kiene on Jul 01, 2016I am inclined to say it is a weed as it looks like some weeds that I pull out but if this is the only place that it is in your flower beds I would be hesitant about pulling it out until it blooms and then you can make a decision. If you allow it to bloom and do not want it just make sure you get it out of there before it seeds.Helpful Reply

J9a8224098 on Jul 04, 2016I don't know the name of it, but, it is a horrible weed. Roundup will not kill it. You have to Hoe them down, before the flowers bloom. The seeds go every where, and the grow almost anywhere.Helpful Reply

Tan5227879 on Oct 27, 2016It looks very similar to Erigeron canadensis (synonym Conyza canadensis). It is an annual plant native throughout most of North America and Central America. It is also widely naturalized in Eurasia and Australia. It has medicine properties - stops diarrhea (boiled herb).Helpful Reply
