Oh Karen - how beautiful this turned out!!! Now this is the area dedicated to your husband's late dog, right? (Mollie???) I always wanted a natural stone waterfall pond but we can't dig where it needs to go because of gas lines. I can certainly see this as very doable!!! FANTASTIC!!! -
Karen, THANK YOU for the updated photos. It looks terrific. You guys did an unbelievable job!! -
Thank you very much ladies! Yes, Susan, this is Molly's memorial. We are not done with it completely. Eventually, when the wood dries from the pressure treated applicaton, we'll stain it the same color to match our fence around the backyard. We plan to haul in dirt and plant shrubbery on the other side of the pond. The banana tree you see in the back of the pond is now planted in the far corner of the yard and doing really well. It's also in her memory since her nickname was "Molly-anna banana." LOL :) -
So very, very sweet. Molly would be proud. -
How sweet to name the Koi pond after Molly. I have a 1/2 acre of gardens and two are memorial gardens. I will have to google Koi pond. I am thinking Japanese with gold fish. -
Karen you're on the right track with that!!
