I get an update from NFPA's Public Education Division monthly and this months tips was on these kits. Many do not think about them much. We here in Atlanta don't think about disasters here. But I have lived here for 46 years and have seen a few. In the 1970s their was a Ice storm that stopped the hole state. In 1984 their was another, I was out of power and gas for 7 days. So I think we all could use a good disaster Kit in the home. Their are many things I had not thought of and would and could have helped me in the past and future Storms. I hope this gets you to thinking...
