I'm hoping the squash vine will climb the ladder and the fruit will hang through the rungs

This must not be your first garden - sure looks like you know what your're doing. Do you can & freeze your produce?? Sure will be good this winter when it's freezing and snow on the ground!!

You've put in a tremendous number of hours preparing your garden. It looks great. Where's the scare crow?

That's quite a garden you've got growing, Nichole. I love the rustic teepees.

thanks everybody. susan, it's not my first garden but it is only my third and i still feel like a novice. we don't really know what we're doing, we just put a seed in the dirt, hope for the best and let mother nature take it from there. we do can, freeze and we have a dehydrator for drying. becky i hadn't thought of a scarecrow but now that you mention it the kids are really excited to make one and put it in the " pumpkin patch"
