Jean Myles on Jul 03, 2016How about a couple of areas like a dining ,cooking and a seating area. seating area could be defined with a rug you purchased or you could paint one. Some bright planters scattered around will take up some of the space. A awning or gazebo type cover over the the table and chairs could separate the dining area from the cooking area .Helpful Reply

Bryan's Workshop on Jul 03, 2016Lovely area! I'd cover it and then decorate from there. I think a stenciled rug would be awesome too.Helpful Reply

Jim Ginas on Jul 04, 2016as you live in Florida, I'd do a couple Lounge Chairs and a table in-between them near the A frame portion of the roof, on the flat/straight portion of windows/door/windows... get a retractable awning (Wind sensor works GREAT for us), and a couple chairs with a table between them also! and lots of colorful floral in areas that block any views you prefer not to see,... the more colorful flowers, the nicer it is to sit outside! (The retractable awning is WELL worth the cost, borrow the money if you need! as it absolutely is approx 20 degrees cooler under it and makes drinking a cup of coffee in the morning and catching up on news / Facebook / emails enjoyable!) and GOOD wind chimes if you like their sounds..... make it like your own little paradise!Helpful Reply

Connie on Jul 04, 2016Thanks for feedback. Think I will paint a rug on the concrete using a Moroccan style stencil. I will investigate retractable shade cost. I have started my plant list for fall planting.Helpful Reply

Jennie Lee on Jul 04, 2016Make low shelves that run along under the windows. Something as simple as boards and decorative cinder blocks would do. Then use them for plants , audio equipment (when it's time to PARTY!), and any other decorative or necessary things--even as a buffet! Anything you display there can also be enjoyed from the inside, through the window! There could be storage underneath for gardening needs, outdoor toys, etc.Helpful Reply

Barb on Jul 04, 2016Don't forget that you can go vertical with your decor. Try pillar planting, screening and lighting on poles.Helpful Reply
