We put out our bales, then had a snow storm (mid March Colorado), we need to wait til April to start the conditioning process. Will the exposure to high moisture, soon to be followed by higher temperatures, before we can start our hay bale garden conditioning, produce problems with the bales?

I have been straw bale gardening for about 5 years and I swear by it. It is best to lay down weed cloth under your bales first so that you don't get them coming up through your bales. No biggy but every little effort makes life a little easier. I grow great big strawberries and more.
