Caring for Outdoor Succulents

This is the first year I've had potted succulents outside and they're doing very well thanks to some easy care tips I've learned along the way.

Succulents don't require a lot of water. Once per week in the warmer summer months and even less when it gets cooler. Keep succulents out of direct intense sunlight. They prefer 6-8 hours of light, but their leaves may burn in the hot sun.

Succulents don't like their roots sitting in water for long periods of time. Use a well-draining potting soil or mix sand in a flower bed. For more tips on keeping your succulents healthy all summer long, visit Satori Design for Living:

This year I have twenty or thirty and may not have room on my porch for them. Help...
