They will grow in all kinds of odd places; like this wreath - it's made from a pair of panty hose, and you can see how happy the plants are...
It's not evident from the first sight of these wreaths, but once you look closer, you can see the nylons filled with soil; the plants just root right through them, no need to make holes.
