by

Both of these two things together are greater than the sum of it's parts; a rustic twig handle, and a hypertufa basket just fit together perfectly for a container for succulents.

Linda @ Mixed Kreations on Jul 19, 2013Looks great! I made me a hypertufa a couple weeks ago, but I don't think it is going to work. It is to crumbly. )-: The directions that I followed did not specify cement with or without gravel. Just said Portland commercial grade. Well Lowes didn't have Portland and the only commercial grade I found had gravel. I think maybe I need it without gravel. Will have to look for another recipe.

Drought Smart Plants on Jul 19, 2013Yes, you need it without gravel - the portland by itself is very fine powder. You can see more on my other site here; http://www.bluefoxfarm.com/hypertufa-projects.html - follow the links to the how to pages.
