1903 Industrial Cart Restored and Made Into a Coffee Table

(IC: professional)
Based on the research we had done we were able to determine that this industrial cart was made between 1903 and 1905. Originally used to move heavy items around a warehouse this piece was restored and refinished into a one of a kind coffee table.
The wheels were stripped down then sprayed a satin black. The hardware was all drilled out to accommodate new lag screws to replace the rusty bolts. We then planed the 2" x 6" white oak base and re-assembled it. The broken top was replaced with solid 1" x 12" oak. All of the oak was stained a dark walnut then sealed with a number of cotes of satin polycrylic.
The top measures approximately 30" x 60".
There are companies that are selling reproduction industrial carts for $1700 - $1900. We are offering this piece for $950 plus shipping or is available for local pickup.
Please give us your feedback. Thank you.
If interested in buying it please contact us at vintageheadboards@gmail.com or 972.668.2603

Vintage Headboards on Aug 30, 2015Good evening @Linda - this particular restoration was not a replica. We restored the original hardware and re-assembled the cart adding a new solid oak top. Everything else was original hardware.
