Just be sure that the chairs are still sturdy. They become brittle when exposed to the sun for a prolonged period of time. It could break apart if sat upon.

I have spray painted my plastic chairs more than once. Original color white, 2nd color dark green, 3rd color rust. They always look great with the new update. There are many types of spray paint for plastic.

Even if chairs don't look quite "that bad" it's amazing how a fresh coat of spray paint freshens them up and they look like new. A good way to start the Summer months I think. If you have paint left, spray a few plastic flower pots to set out. For a few dollars, it makes things look fresh and new.

you could try de-oxidizing them with a vinegar/water solution before painting them. I also wax my furniture with car wax every season, so I don't have to paint so often

I spray painted mine brown to match my patio wicker set, the spray paint bonds with the plastic so far it's been 6 years and it's still going strong!

Go to your local hardware store like lowes, Home Depot, Menards etc. go to the paint section and find their spray paint counter, and look for rust olem they should have ones that say for plastic, resin coverage, I have the same exact chairs you have, clean them well let them dry completely, then spray away you do use a lot because of the back and bottom takes more paint coverage. But they will look brand new!

I painted my plastic chairs with plastic spray paint and they looked great. Easy to do. Just be sure you allow for overspray and put down newspaper or a tarp or do it in the yard on the grass.
