Yard Sale Table Gets Makeover and Finds New Home

2 Materials
My husband was really proud of this yard sale find.
I can’t say that I was nearly as excited.
This table was dirty, food caked on it, and I didn’t know what to do about the white tiles on the top.

NOT MY STYLE.

I was helping a friend move and she needed a small table for her new place, so hey, I thought I'd give this to her.
I didn’t realize how gross it was until I started cleaning it!

There’s no way I could give my friend this table like this!

It wasn’t long before I had the putty knife out scraping yucky old gunk off of it!

Finally, I decided the table was going to HAVE to be painted so I’d might as well get the sander out and get started on it....which led to painting it too.
She liked the idea of having a two-toned table, which I thought was really fun, and helped the white tile blend in.

So I primed, painted, poly'd...
And I do think it turned out nicely and she's excited to move it into her new home...and I'm excited to no longer have it in my garage. PERFECT!
