I also love the recycled/re-purposed items to enhance the rooms charm!! -
I just love this room, all of it.....so shabby chic AND the use of the color aqua, it's my new favorite color! -
what color brown did you use on walls -
Great color combos, great re-purposing, great sense of style! Congrats on a job well-done! -
Nice color coordination and style -
Those are the colors in my master BR. My sister-in-laww and I are going to use an old door (made for the house by the Amish) for a headboard in the guest room. Glad to see it works well. -
absolutely stunning! i love that you have recycled so many items and it turned out so lovely and creative! -

This is what I want for my guest bedroom!! Absolutely beautiful!! -
Thanks!! I am not sure the name of the brown, this was painted almost 6 years ago! Sorry I can't be of more help!! -
What a great room! Very nicely done -
evolving rooms are good ;), I try and change mine often as much as possible, atleast the bedspreads, covers, rugs and sometimes, if the price is right, curtains -
wonderful job.. thats the beauty of not spending excessive money on brand new cause you don't feel guilty when you want to change it up.. -
love the color scheme! -
LOVE< LOVE -
I love these colors! Aqua is now my new favorite color & I have redone most of the inside of my home with aqua accessories this summer. I do change my color scheme in my home twice a year....light & airy in spring/summer & darker colors for fall winter. It doesn't cost alot at all if you shop the sales for bedding & the discount stores or even craft stores for accessories. I have throw pillows & pictures for my walls that I change out twice a year for the seasons & by reusing them each year, it seems "new" to me & keeps things fresh looking. -
Missy, seriously beautiful bedroom! I'm checking out the blog post to see more ... and drool ... -
I admire your idea of the dresser with the old brass headborad behind it and the accent mirror above it on the wall. -
Absolutely gorgeous colour scheme.........and styling too. -
The colors are amazing!
