Grocery Store Flowers and Upcycled Spaghetti Jars

Fresh flowers don't have to cost you $$$ every week! Sure, you can still splurge for large arrangements on special occasions (or let the hubby do that for you!), but for the week to week, grocery store flowers can be lovely.
Place your jar/vase at the edge of the counter. Hold your stem up to it and play with how high you would like it, cut off the bottom with sharp shears, knife, or clippers.
A good rule for arranging: Thriller, filler, spiller. Just like planters! Place a taller, popping flower in the center and fill/spill around it with something like carnations. Tuck in a few greens to a bit more flare!
