KMS is spot on if you have a standard size vanity top! Otherwise, its hard to get "cheap" .. natural stone. Your next best bet is to go to a fabricator that has a large "boneyard" of leftovers .. you might strike a deal with a unique color. But saving big on cost may not be possible for a small install.
Silestone? no cheap or bargains to be had anywhere in ATL that I am aware of
Like with any other product that is HOT these days. Stone and quartz tops can be quite expensive even for left overs. You need to shop all over the place and be willing to negotiate prices. They will try to sell you the small part you want as though your buying the entire slab. So be prepared to bargain with them to get your best deal.
Diana, I have tried to find out if there is a Habitat for Humanity store in the Atlanta, GA area but my online queries don't seem to be turning up anything that sounds like what you are describing. I would think that there would be something like that in this area ... any other ideas on how to locate one ... Many Thanks!
