I am so happy my Hybrid Lilies survived the move. They were a special gift from a close gardening buddy, who passed away some years ago. I have 3 rose of sharon bushes, which were raised from seedlings. I love how the Euchanasia petals unfold.
Roses and Rose of Sharron bighten up the view of the fence along our neighbors drive way.
I mange to get a white, pink and a lilac. So lucky - they love it here.
Such a pretty color & look at all the buds! Deadheading works on perrenials, too.
This be was not camera shy.

Can I take a cutting from a very healthy Rose of Sharon? How do I process it? I already tried a flower pod in water. It just dried up.

Just let the seed pods fall - they will self sow and you will have volunteers that you can pull up and replant (or give away). Mother Nature will do it for you - you don't need to make cuttings or anything. It just happens!
